Appointment time: 30 minutes

Recovery time: some redness and skin peeling may occur within the week after treatment, but you can return to work/driving straight away

Pain: very slight stinging sensation may occur (not everyone gets this)

1

How long do the effects of a chemical peel last?

Depending on the strength of the peel, it is recommended to have a maximum of one a month, or simply whenever you feel you need one.

2

What areas can I have treated?

Chemical peels can be used pretty much anywhere on the body. The most common areas are the face, neck and back.

3

How do I prepare for treatment?

Our practitioner will go through all specific pre-care and after-care in detail during your consultation, but it is advised to stop using retinols and skin acids at least 5-7 days before your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment with no makeup on.

4

How do chemical peels work?

A chemical solution is applied to the skin, which triggers the skin's natural cell turnover process. The type of peel used will depend on the skin condition being treated. Conditions such as acne, pigmentation and lines and wrinkles may be treated.
