How long does dermal filler last?

Dermal filler tends to last 3-6 months, although there have been reports of it lasting up to 12 years! It depends on each individual/lifestyle choices.

What areas can I have treated?

Dermal filler is used to treat areas where volume has been lost due to ageing, such as cheeks, chin and jawline. They can also be used to plump lips and smooth out wrinkles in areas such as nose to mouth lines and marionette lines.

How do I prepare for treatment?

Our practitioner will go through all specific pre-care and after-care in detail during your consultation, but it is advised to stop taking blood thinning medication such as ibuprofen and aspirin at least 3-4 days before your appointment. Please arrive at your appointment with no makeup on.

How do dermal fillers work?

Dermal fillers are injected into facial features to restore volume to where it may have been lost due to ageing. They consist of a gel like substance made of hyaluronic acid.
