Polynucleotides (PDRN)

Appointment time: 15-20 minutes

Recovery time: may have small bumps/swelling around the treated area, but may return to work/driving straight away

Pain: very minimal, numbing cream can be used

How long do polynucleotides last?

Polynucleotides last around 6-12 months. You will see the results after about 2-3 weeks. It is recommended to have 3 treatments, spaced out every 3 weeks.

What areas can I have treated?

Polynucleotides work well when used under the eye area, but they can be used anywhere on the face or neck.

How do I prepare for treatment?

Our practitioner will go through all specific pre-care and after-care in detail during your consultation, but it is advised to stop taking blood thinning medication such as ibuprofen and aspirin at least 3-4 days before your appointment. Please arrive at your appointment with no makeup on.

How do polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides contain DNA fragments which when injected into the skin, send signals to cells to increase metabolism, proliferation and differentiation. They stimulate the production of growth factors, cytokines and other molecules involved in wound healing. Polynucleotides also stimulate collagen and elastin production and help with skin conditions such as rosacea and acne.
